Available Positions

Patient Care Coordinator

Looking for a positive working environment where your day flies by and you have fun with your team members? Central Washington Oral & Facial Surgery is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator. This person has a vital role in our front office by checking in patients, answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and presenting treatment estimates.

The ideal candidate will have impeccable attention to detail, great communication skills, and be pleasant and personable. Bilingual candidates with previous dental experience will be preferred. This position is full time (32 hours/wk) with benefits. CWOFS is excited to welcome more dynamic individuals to our team!

Surgical Assistant

Central Washington Oral & Facial Surgery is currently accepting applications for full-time (32 hrs/wk) surgical assistants who desire an upbeat, fast-paced, and dynamic environment. We are seeking new team members with great interpersonal skills and a commitment to giving our patients the best experience possible. The surgical assistants perform clinical and technical procedures under the supervision of a licensed dentist.

Job duties include

  • Escorting patients to and from treatment rooms and prepping them for care by the doctor

  • Reviewing medical history, progress from the previous visit, and vital signs, as well as providing patient education

  • Recordkeeping and charting in the patient’s Electronic Medical Record

  • Use of 3D cone beam scan and intraoral scanner

  • Assisting the doctor in surgery (passes instruments, aspirates intra-oral fluids, mixes materials and medicaments during examinations or treatment)

  • Preparing, cleaning, and restocking operatories

  • Sterilization of all instruments

  • Taking impressions for diagnostic and opposing models

  • Coordination and correspondence with referring offices

Special Requirements/Certifications/Licenses

  • Valid dental assisting license

  • CPR & first aid certificate

Special consideration will be given to applicants with a background in the medical/dental field, medical terminology, patient care, anesthesia knowledge, and great communication skills. Spanish-speaking preferred. Hourly wage depends upon experience.

Surgical Assistant (Moses Lake Location)

Central Washington Oral & Facial Surgery is currently accepting applications for a part-time (8–10 hrs/wk) surgical assistant in our growing Moses Lake location. This position has the potential to increase in hours over time. We are seeking new team members with great interpersonal skills and a commitment to giving our patients the best experience possible. The surgical assistants perform clinical and technical procedures under the supervision of a licensed dentist.
